International Conference on Earth Observations and Societal Impacts


The International Conference on Earth Observations and Societal Impacts (ICEO&SI), hosted by Taiwan Group on Earth Observations (TGEO) along with other academic institutions, will provide a common forum for international experts and scholars specializing in earth observations and social sciences to discuss and communicate on subjects relating to climate change, environmental disasters, ecological impacts, global resources and public health; specifically, to bring up appropriate suggestions and corresponding strategies for human beings.

The ICEO&SI conference has as its aim to create a binding platform for scientists and researchers, as well for those in industries and laboratories, and students, to network, to learn and to share their knowledges. Furthermore, to provide new insights in overcoming the current challenges which were faced by academics and industrialists related to earth observations in its multiple facets. Namely, in addition to publishing professional papers, ICEO&SI is also an effective platform of information exchange; where the participants can not only share their own experiences, but also realize the improvement of related industries such as remote sensing, geo-informatics, and other innovative products and services.
